ENFLUVIR® 75 mg Sert Kapsul contains oseltamivir, an antiviral medicine belonging to the neuraminidase inhibitor class. Each 75 mg hard capsule contains oseltamivir phosphate equivalent to 75 mg oseltamivir.
How To Use
- Take ENFLUVIR exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
- For adults and adolescents 13 years and older, the usual treatment dose is 75 mg twice daily for 5 days.
- Treatment should ideally be started within 48 hours of influenza symptom onset.
- For influenza prevention after close contact, adults and adolescents 13 years and older are commonly prescribed 75 mg once daily for at least 10 days, depending on the clinical situation.
- Swallow the capsule with water. It can generally be taken with or without food; taking it with food may help reduce stomach upset.
- Dosage for children is based on age and/or body weight.
- Patients with reduced kidney function may require a dose adjustment.
- Do not change the dose or treatment duration without medical advice.
